Video: Highlight of Emerging Technology and Advertising 2012

FITC hosted a day-long conversation about the impact that technology continues to have on brands. The event, Emerging Technology and Advertising (ETA), featured seven speakers - all of which have an interest in the relationship between technology and marketing. The topics covered included retail for the "nui" consumer and how to manage innovation in an era of accelerating technologies.

The featured speakers included:

Steve Mason – Vice President of Innovation, Obscura

Golan Levin – Artist and Engineer, Carnegie Mellon University

Ray Kurzweil – CEO and Owner, Kurzweil Technologies, Inc.

Maggie Koerth-Baker – Science Editor, BoingBoing.net 

Chris Kobran – Head of Brands and Strategic Partnerships,

Kiip Emilie Hersh – CEO, Interknowlogy 

Jared Ficklin – Principle Technologist, Frog Design 

We caught up with attendees during the post-event at Betty's Pub to find out what they enjoyed most about the day.
